United On A United Flight

All Set had the pleasure of working on the wedding of Roger and Kim. This perfect couple met on a United flight. What was love at first sight, manifested into a fabulous wedding. Lara Choma, Owner of  Sealed With A Kiss, did a great job creating custom details that defined the couple. All Set was hired for Month of Coordination. Cheers to the happy couple!

Dinner For Ten

It was another beautiful summer night in Hillsborough, CA. Perfect for outdoor entertaining.

Always a blast working with this particular client- she has such an incredible inventory of chargers, and china, and chairs- Ohh My!

From Land To Sea

All Set had the opportunity to design a tablescape inspired by the tale Privateer. With the aid of The Prop House of San Francisco the guests had plenty of authentic props to look at as they discussed Michael Scanalios' adventurous novel.

Bouquet To Arts = FABULOUS.

In the heart of Golden Gate Park are the ever-changing exhibits at the de Young Fine Arts Museum. Through the years I have always been impressed with the various installments that I have seen, but on Tuesday, March 13th I experienced something unparalleled to anything before- Bouquets to Art. It runs March 13th- March 17th 2012. Floral designers were given the opportunity to pick one piece of art in the museum and create an arrangement depicting their interpretation. The designers are represented from all over Northern California; San Jose, Napa, San Ramon, Monterey, and the list goes on and on. For flower lovers and art enthusiasts alike- this is a must see!

Who would have ever known that an art project I did in Mrs. Brainards 5th grade class would end up becoming one of my favorite wedding trends- Silhouettes! From invites to chair markers, there are many places you can employ the couple's silhouette.

Interested in having your silhouette created? I recently worked with an incredible silhouette artist named Karl Johnson at Cut Arts. His work has been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, The Oprah Magazine, and Domino just to name a few. His nickname is "the master scissor artist" and after watching this video you will understand why.

All Set Wedding In The Press: San Francisco Chronicle

In fall of 2011 All Set had the pleasure of working with a wonderful couple to help coordinate their wedding reception at The National AIDS Memorial Grove, in San Francisco. This venue is a must see for weddings- truly an undiscovered gem. All Set was also hired to design all the wedding florals. This wedding was fun and fresh- as it required All Set to design with new textures and florals- succulents and feathers just to name a few.

The couple's beautiful union recently gained national attention in the Sunday edition of the San Francisco Chronicle- Check it out!

An Evening Of Extraordinary Women

Earlier this month All Set was brought on board to design "An Evening of Extraordinary Women"- a 50th birthday celebration hosted at the Burlingame Women's Club. Guests were greeted at the door with champagne and speciality cocktails and heard the sweet sounds of violinist Joseph Christianson, playing in the background. The amber and red washed room created an intimate feeling that was felt from the moment you walked through the doors. Delicious appetizers were passed by the skilled team from Chef Mara. The night was a lovely affair.

Mr. & Mrs. 9 -10- 11

Earlier this month I had the opportunity to see 10 months in the making come to life with the wedding of Jenny & Matt. I had the pleasure of working with the couple on their tablescape design. We opted for varied sizes of mason jars wrapped in beautiful paper from Paper Source. The bride and groom chose four different patterns to utilize for the design.

All Set was also brought on board to complete all of their wedding florals.

Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs.!

Call It Mellow Yellow

All Set entered candy land this weekend with the design of an all yellow candy bar for a wedding hosted at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco. The candy bar was a huge hit and met the needs of even the sweetest sweet tooth.
